Series of animated vignettes linked by a disembodied hand which appears to be drawing the illustrations. In the first segment, the hand turns around a drawing of an old man and canine-hero Rin Tin Tin magically appears. In the second set of segments, drawings of children morph into adults who look completely unlike their youthful countenances. in the final segment, the hand slices up "The House That Jack Built" into the pictures of the most significant characters in the children's rhyme, and then reattaches the slips of paper to reform the house.
A young man looks out of his window, trying to see the stars. The city is too bright, preventing him from doing so. Disappointed, he decides to leave the city. His car journey takes him to a hill that he considers ideal. He sets up his tent there. He is happy.
Mickey is stranded on an island. He runs into some cannibals who are about to cook a fellow cannibal. Mickey scares them off and makes friends with the cannibal whom he calls Friday. Bout de Zan is a young boy by description and a petty thief by vocation. In this short, he does indeed steal an elephant from a circus, parading it around town and using it to beg for money. Due to their rambunctiousness, Bout de Zan and the elephant (!) need saving from the authorities.

For a short comedy of rare merit this subject is unexcelled. A chalk line series of grotesque caricatures enacted in the land of puppets. A fickle maiden gets herself into numerous embarrassing complications with her host of admirers, but the artist with lightning rapidity overcomes all obstacles and brings the maiden out victorious.

Horace pulls a wagon with a a small pipe organ, with Mickey at the keys; a sign on the side reads "Mickey's Big Road Show." They arrive, and Mickey's suitcase labeled "Jazz Fool" unfolds to a piano, which he plays (and sings about 8 notes). At the end, the piano attacks him. There is no dialogue, aside from the nonsense syllables sung.
Mickey's on African safari, riding on an elephant, but his shotgun disintegrates the first time he tries to use it. To sooth the vicious beasts, he plays tunes, sings, and dances, using the various animals and objects around him as instruments.
