In this stunning film by Christopher Nupen, Segovia returns to the Granada of his youth, site of his personal and musical formation. The world-famous Alhambra—empty of tourists, between midnight and 4 AM—plays host to a deeply moving selection of Segovia’s signature pieces, many in his own arrangements, all imbued with the meditative, profoundly soulful qualities that lifted him to the pinnacle of artistry and helped him redefine what was considered possible for guitarists.
Considering that Roxette is one of Scandinavia's most successful acts ever, it's about time a documentary on their phenomenal career sees the light of day. And considering that the group played in front of 1.5 million people in 46 countries during their sensational comeback tour 2011-2012, it's about time for a concert film that shows where this magnificently rejuvenated group stands today.
These two birds back to join their voices, between lyric and tear, Serrat and Sabina. During a previous tour viewers could overthrow them both with one shot, but this time that these birds will soar on shotguns. Each with its splendor, with its poison. Joan Manuel Serrat keeps intact the moral, tough, committed contempt of difficult times, but always wrapped in the aura of a joy of living, in favor of simple pleasures, the melancholy of those trams transported to the beaches on Sunday to overcome people and returned to the city only defeated by the sun, with salty lips and burned skin. And among so many words of love Serrat, the hoarse cries of Sabina, both fused, and although the two crossing their songs, one with guitar and the heart will scratch another liver.

I moved to Los Angeles in 2003 in search of opportunity and cheaper rent than New York City. My first gig at The Mint was attended by 5 of my friends and that's all. We have played The Greek Theatre many times since, but the Bowl has always been a dream. The orchestra and the sheer scale of the event and venue is something I will never forget. I am so grateful that we filmed this special event in my life,” reminisces Bonamassa.
