Secret of the Sacred Forest

Provost plays a brave teenager who sneaks into the Philippines in order to search for his brother, Parsons, a famed investigative reporter whose plane crashed in the middle of the jungle while he was trying to expose a drug-smuggling ring. American embassy official Merrill learns the boy has entered the country illegally and heads off into the bush after him. In the meantime, Provost has found a guide, native boy Martinez, to help him in his search. Pursued by black marketeers, unsympathetic government agents, headhunters, and Merrill, Provost finds his brother and is shocked to learn that he is a member of the drug-smuggling ring. The confusion ends, however, when Parsons explains that he staged his disappearance in order to join the smugglers so that he could expose them. Doris Poole, whose parents were theatrical people, was orphaned as a child, and four members of the troupe adopted and raised her. When grown, she has become the leading lady in a San Francisco stock-company. She meets and falls in love with Ted, the millionaire son of a rich widow, but she thinks he is only a tax-cab driver. His mother objects to the romance and looks into Doris' past. She learns that her father had murdered, in a fit of jealousy, her mother, and tells Doris what she has found out. The four actors who had raised her had never told her how she happened to become an orphan. They persuade Ted's mother to send him on a voyage to the Orient in order to get him away from Doris. But they neglected to tell the mother they had also booked passage for Doris on the same ship.

The Woman of Bronze

Sculptor Leonard Hunt is urged by his wife Vivian to compete for a million dollar prize competition for a Victory Memorial commemorating the First World War. Sylvia Morton models for Hunt, and they become romantically involved. In an attempt to save her marriage, Vivian persuades him to close the studio and go on a second honeymoon. But Hunt is unable to forget Sylvia, so he leaves Vivian. Vivian threatens to kill Sylvia unless she promises to give up Hunt. Months later, Hunt returns, remorseful and begging forgiveness, saying that Sylvia has married someone else.

Considered as the one of the first feature-length Turkish movies produced during the reign of the Ottoman Empire, Casus is about a spying adventure which took place in the First World War. The copy of the movie did not survive to the present day.

The Forward Pass

Marty Reid, the star quarterback at Sanford College, is constantly singled out by the opposition for punishment, and he swears to his pal, Honey Smith, and to Coach Wilson that he will quit the game forever. Ed Kirby, who dislikes Reid, calls him yellow, and Wilson gets Patricia Carlyle, the college vamp, to induce Reid to play. At a sorority dance, where only football players can cut in, Kirby persecutes Reid by dancing with Pat, and as a result Reid does apply to play in the game.

Hugh Whittaker believes he is terminally ill, and, as an act of mercy, weds a young woman named Mary, who has been deserted by her lover. He travels to Europe, recovers his health, and returns to New York City, where he meets and falls in love with musical star Sara Law, unaware that she is actually his wife. Through it all Dusty is determined to bring Corbeau back to Texas (and April, too, if he can manage it.)
