The result of his efforts is an exciting, moving and often humorous film, revealing the beauty and diversity of this wild park in every season. We also watch the main characters grow up to adulthood, a path inevitably dogged with challenges. Enting: “To me, this park, in any season, has an almost un-Dutch beauty. It is the largest continuous nature reserve in northwest Europe with an incredible variety of landscapes and life. It has forests, heath, sand drifts, brooks and pushed moraines. Wild Slovenia

The documentary visually presents the very diverse fauna and flora of Slovenia, focusing on mammals and birds, and shows some particularly interesting species of amphibians, fish, insects and plants. It takes place over a period of one year and takes the viewer through typical Slovenian landscapes. The plot crosses between the provinces and occasionally returns to the same area in order to show what is happening in the animal world in the second part of the year. A very rich ecosystem diversity, rarely seen recordings, and scientifically verified information weaved into the intelligible text are key attributes of this film.

The Arctic Fox in Iceland

The arctic fox is of a circumpolar species, but in Iceland the conditions are different from most of the other habitats of the species, due to the absence of lemmings. This film deals with research done on the ecology and behavior of arctic foxes in a remote coastal region of North Western Iceland. The work of a scientist, studying the arctic fox under harsh conditions during both winter and summer, is observed, as well as the lives of the arctic foxes in this special environment.

Namibia's Bat-eared Foxes: Survivalists of the Desert

Their huge ears locate the underground crawling sounds of beetles, larvae, and other insects in the sands of the Kalahari desert. But their resemblance to the thieving jackal lead to their inadvertent targeting by farmers defending their livestock. With their numbers dwindling, the bat-eared foxes of southern Namibia have become the passion project of veterinarian Margit Du Toit.

The Glacier Fox

Director Koreyoshi Kurahara chronicles a year in the lives of Flep and Leila, two foxes living in Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island, where the freezing winters are long and the mild summers short. After Flep defeats another male fox to become Leila's lifelong partner, they mate and raise a litter of five kits. With their family complete, the group must contend with human interference in their habitat, such as chicken farms and snowmobiles, and struggle against the debilitating cold of winter. The animals experience both triumph and tragedy, as the law of this harsh land proves – only the strong survive.

Guadalquivir

'Guadalquivir' is a feature length documentary directed by Joaquín Gutiérrez that features a fox, an animal that has adapted, living in packs and alone and that is a carnivore, vegetarian and even carrion. The camera follows the path of the fox by the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas.

Smart as a Fox is a 1946 short documentary film supervised by Gordon Hollingshead. In this short film, a fox cub experiences life in the forest. It was nominated for an Oscar for Best Live Action Short, One-Reel.
