KANGDANIEL: My Parade

Following his explosive career as a member of one of Korea’s hottest K-pop groups, Kang Daniel has chosen to walk down a path all his own. His debut as a solo artist may have been delayed due to circumstances outside of his control, but it was during this time that Kang Daniel explored and discovered his true colors as an artist. With the release of his first full album, Kang Daniel stands before fans once again with “FIRST PARADE,” his first solo concert in Seoul that also marks the start of an epic world tour. This concert documentary film chronicles Daniel’s time in the rehearsal room, his stripped back and natural self with the people closest to him, and a glimpse into his mindset and resolve through heartfelt interviews. Nine Inch Nails: After All is Said and Done

A group of Nine Inch Nails fans who call themselves 'a tiny little dot' have spent the last three years sifting through fan-shot footage from the final show of Nine Inch Nails' "Wave Goodbye Tour" at Los Angeles' Wiltern on September 10th, 2009 to form an over-3 hour, 37-song concert film. The film is culled from over 75 hours of footage taken from 27 unique fan shot HD footage sources. Over 3,500 collective hours were spent on per-production treatment: a team of nine editors and seven peer reviewers then spent over 680 hours editing each song, and audio from five sources was dubbed in over the course of 65 hours in a professional studio to create the final stereo and 5.1 audio masters.

This tribute to James Levine, first shown on PBS, was only part of that glorious evening. Here we have the whole performance, up to three hours. I could not stop watching these discs. Let me say this much; Levine has done for the Met, making it the premier opera house in the world, what Karajan did with the Berlin, making it one of the finest orchestras ever.
