He thinks he isn't important, so he tells tall tales, scratching his nose each time. He tells people that Gepetto is a big important politician, so people automatically want to support him, though Gepetto is not running for anything.

The Frog Prince

She pines and eventually seeks him out, braving various tests of her truthfulness in the process.

The greedy treasurer makes Marie spin twice more until the only thing she has left to give the little man is the promise of her first-born child…
