It all begins with a childhood memory: that day when the father of the future filmmaker Sebastiano d'Ayala Valva forces him to listen to certain music that initially terrifies him; a distant echo from the past that leads him to follow the trail of his mysterious ancestor, the Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi (1905-1988), who claimed that his music was directly inspired by the gods.

The all female ensemble also delivers other timeless traditional Irish songs such as "Bean Pháidín" and "Siúil A Run" highlighting the beauty of Ireland's heritage and its Gaelic language. Alongside newer songs such as "Walk Beside Me" and "The Whole Of The Moon," the show also features reimagined renditions of audience favorites "Amazing Grace" and "You Raise Me Up."
On August 26, 2017, VOLBEAT became the first Danish band to headline and sell out their hometown venue, Denmark’s Telia Parken, setting the record for the biggest show by a domestic artist in Denmark ever with over 48,250 people in attendance.
