Jo and the Pirates

Jo and the Pirates is a short film about Jo (Joanne), a fourteen year old girl living in her second foster home with two malicious foster siblings, an overworked foster mother, and the foster mother's layabout brother. On Halloween, after protecting her best friend from a neighborhood bully, Jo hides in the woods. She discovers a strange piece of glowing metal that takes her aboard the bridge of a space ship crewed by intergalactic pirates.

GCW Fight Club 2022 Night 1

Fight Club was a two-day professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event promoted by Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) that was held on October 8 and 9, 2022. Both nights of the event were held in Atlantic City, New Jersey; night 1 of the event took place at the Garden Pier at the Showboat while night 2 was held inside Showboat Hotel itself. The event aired on PPV via the FITE TV service.

Shastri Ji, a retired math teacher, shares his home with his son Nilesh and daughter-in-law Madhu. Madhu desires a new apartment, away from Shastri Ji's quirks. Ayush leads a monotonous life, brightened by his girlfriend Parul. Shastri Ji (60), a retired and jovial maths teacher, lives in his 30-year-old house, filled with cherished memories of his late wife, Sudha. He shares the house with his son Nilesh and daughter-in-law Madhu, who is frustrated by Shastri Ji's quirks and the lack of privacy and wants to move to a new apartment with her husband. On the other hand, Ayush lives a monotonous life with his only sunshine mein being his long time girlfriend , Parul who is soon gonna be his wife. Things take a turn when Shastri ji and Ayush while attending a local health check up camp are diagnosed with cancer. Events that follow ensure the viewers a laughter ride.

Planet of the Children

Documentary about Cuban education. El planeta de los niños is not a documentary and not a feature film. Sarmiento actually filmed a documentary subject with the mise-en-scène and the cutting of a feature film. Without further ado, she takes the viewer into a world where adults would appear to have died out ; a society within which all functions and professions are held by children with deadly seriousness as if things have always been this way. Only right at the end does Sarmiento reveal that she shot the film at the 'Escuele de Pioneros' set up in Cuba in 1979, an institution which Fidel Castro gave to the children of his people to prepare themselves for a later working life. The film opens with an as-good-as-real wedding ceremony and progresses via a birth to a simulated battle ; from birth to death. The subtle irony with which Sarmiento portrays this 'Utopian' world was not understood by all German critics.

Hyuk soon receives a mysterious email from an anonymous sender urging him to join this illicit club. Neither Hyuk nor Kyung knows what is in store for them.

The Super Reverend Monk

Green Dragon and White Tiger are two villages that have been fighting for generations. A brutal battle during the Qing Dynasty culminated with the death of White Tiger's Lord and the capture of his pregnant wife that now, according to Green Dragon regulations, must be removed of the fetus which is to be plunged in wine in order to extinguish the bloodline. These plans are interrupted when a monk rescues the wife and takes the child with him to the temple to raise it.
