More than one hundred blind or severely visually impaired actors, members of ONCE theater companies, perform eleven stories based on theatrical texts by a wide variety of authors, guided by Lucius, a blind Roman who wants to become an actor, and Thalia, the Greek muse of comedy.

In this universe, we are probably each other's merciful purgatories.

Intended as an ode to 35mm, the film was screened one time only on a purpose-built 20x12 meter public cinema screen in the Port of Tallinn, Estonia, on 22 December 2011. A special projector was constructed for the event which allowed the actual filmstrip to be burnt at the same time as the film was shown.
