BARE BONES is an experimental short film written, directed and scored by DEBBY FRIDAY. Conceived during the Covid-19 lockdown and shot in Vancouver, BC on 16mm, the film tells the story of a young woman who swallows a bee and begins to undergo a hallucinatory and transformative experience. Abstract visual sequences depict time and space fracturing around her as she succumbs to wave after wave of pure feeling.
BLUE is an audiovisual series by Swedish audiovisual project iamamiwhoami aka artist Jonna Lee, music producer Claes Björklund and directors collective WAVE. It consists of 11 connected audiovisual chapters connected by its' narrative. It describes the project's own evolution seen from the eyes of the artist Jonna Lee in relation to their followers.
It was Peter's idea to invite his friends on a joyride on Justus' birthday of all days. In pouring rain, a car breakdown forces the three detectives to seek refuge at the creepy "Blackstone" castle. The first detective is immediately hooked and senses a new case, only Peter wants to run away. It soon becomes clear to the three investigators that this is about much more than just a game of chess...
