The Shining Trench of Chairman Gonzalo

Dear Rock

A posthumous fan letter to Rock Hudson that uses Hudson as a springboard for an exploration of AIDS and homophobia. Using the contrived form of the fan letter, the film uses digression as its structure, beginning with elements of Hudson's life that open onto larger contemporary issues about gay male identity.

The Great Pack

Côme de Lambrefaut inherited the family castle on the death of his father, but the notary told him that all his property was mortgaged. However, he wants to keep the pack of one hundred and ten hunting dogs that make him proud. In September 1939, the castle was destroyed during a bombardment, and the dogs escaped from their enclosure.
