However, Kayosho intends to keep Toki-ye for himself. This angers Goto, another employee. Kayosho was betrothed to Goto's niece, Hana. One day Kayosho is found dead in a pool.

Bill and Ned reconcile, eventually becoming business partners, Grogan goes to jail.
