Making the Band 2 aired on MTV from October 19, 2002 to April 29, 2004. It centered around the creation of the hip-hop group Da Band.

Making the Band

Making the Band is an ABC/MTV reality television series that exists in separate iterations, each iteration focusing on a specific music act. It spawned musical acts O-Town, Da Band, Danity Kane, Day26, and Donnie Klang. Except for the first iteration of the series featuring O-Town, all seasons of Making the Band have been overseen by Diddy, acting as the man of the house who makes the final decision on who will be in the band.

Pussycat Dolls Present

The Pussycat Dolls Present is an American reality TV series that premiered on March 6, 2007 on The CW, and took place over the course of eight weeks. It was a joint venture between Ken Mok's 10x10 Entertainment, Pussycat LLC, and Warner Horizon Television.

Making the Band 4 aired on MTV from June 18, 2007 to April 23, 2009. It centers on Diddy search for an all-male super group.

Follows a fictionalized version of the life of American rock musician Chris Isaak. The show portrays Isaak and his band members as everyday people with everyday problems.

The Young Person's Guide to Becoming a Rock Star

The Young Person's Guide to Becoming a Rock Star is a British comedy series, which aired on Channel 4 in 1998. It was a six-part satirical take on the music industry, written by Skins creator Bryan Elsley. The plot centered around a young Glaswegian band - Jocks Wa Hey - as they struggle to find success. The series won the 'Best Drama Serial' award at the 1999 RTS Television Awards and, that same year, writer Bryan Esley was nominated in the RTS 'Best Writer' category for the series. It was remade as My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star, a short-lived American/Canadian series that starred Oliver Hudson and was made for the now defunct The WB Television Network.

Totally Frank

Totally Frank was a comedy drama series with a real life band as its stars on Channel 4. It followed a band, Frank, who were struggling to make it in the music industry.

Live Through This

Live Through This is a teen drama broadcast on MTV during the 2000–2001 season, though cancelled after only 13 episodes due to poor ratings. The hour-long drama plot involved a fictional 1980s band entitled "The Jackson Decker Band" reuniting for one last comeback tour. Each episode featured original music written by Graham Nash and performed by Pat Benatar. It was the first hour-long drama series to be aired on MTV.

When Yip Chi-Yan, Lau Chun-Hung, Sung Yee-Long, and Cheng Chun-Hin are brought together again by an accident, their lives change irreversibly. Chi-Yan is a radio host. Detroit Metal City

Dominating the world of indie music, Detroit Metal City (DMC) is a popular death metal band known for its captivatingly dark and crude style. Its extravagant lead singer, Johannes Krauser II, is especially infamous as a demonic being who has risen from the fiery pits of hell itself in order to bring the world to its knees and lord over all mortals—or at least that's what he's publicized to be. Unbeknownst to his many worshippers, Krauser II is just the alter ego of an average college graduate named Souichi Negishi. Although he is soft-spoken, peace-loving, and would rather listen to Swedish pop all day, he must participate in DMC's garish concerts in order to make ends meet. Detroit Metal City chronicles Negishi's hilarious misadventures as he attempts to juggle his hectic band life, a seemingly budding romance, and dealing with his incredibly obsessive and dedicated fans.

Bel's Boys

Bel's Boys is a 2006 TV series based on the band of the same name. It consists of 26 15-minute episodes first broadcast on CITV and is repeated on the CITV channel. Bel's Boys was made by Initial and was part funded by the NIFTC. The series was filmed entirely in Belfast making it the biggest drama series ever to be filmed in Northern Ireland.

Butch Cassidy was a Saturday morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in 1973 for NBC. The series title is a play on the name of the unrelated 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The character's music group is called the Sundance Kids.
