Top Shot is an American reality television show that debuted on the History Channel on June 6, 2010. The show features 16 contestants, split into two teams of eight, competing in various types of shooting challenges. One by one, the contestants are eliminated until only one remains. That contestant receives a $100,000 grand prize and the title of "Top Shot." Survivor contestant Colby Donaldson is the host.
Gladiators is a British television entertainment series, produced by LWT for ITV, and broadcast between 10 October 1992 and 1 January 2000. It is an adaptation of the American format American Gladiators. The success of the British series spawned further adaptations in Australia and Sweden. The series was revived in 2008, before again being cancelled in 2009. The series was originally presented by John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsson, however, Fashanu was replaced by Jeremy Guscott in 1997. Guscott left the series in 1998, and subsequently, Fashanu returned for the final series in 1999. The series was refereed by John Anderson and the timekeepers over the show's run were Andrew Norgate, Derek Redmond and Eugene Gilkes. John Sachs was the show's commentator, and the series was accompanied by its own group of cheerleaders, known as G-Force. Despite being made by London Weekend Television, all episodes of Gladiators, International Gladiators, the second series of The Ashes and the first series of The Springbok Challenge were recorded at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. The first series of The Ashes and the second series of the The Springbok Challenge, however, were filmed on the sets of the Australian and South African versions of the shows respectively. The series also spawned a version for children, entitled Gladiators: Train 2 Win, which was broadcast on CITV between 1995 and 1998.

Iron Chef is a Japanese television cooking show produced by Fuji Television. Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants is an eight-episode competition that featured multiple mother-daughter teams working together as pairs to win a beauty pageant competition. The show ran for eight episodes on The CW from December 12, 2007 to January 30, 2008. The competition was judged by Carson Kressley, Shanna Moakler and television personality Cynthia Garrett. Each pair attempted to brand a 'style' for their mother/daughter team via clothing and swimwear, create ways of expressing a point of view about issues in the world, and practice for the big pageant dance number. The prize package included a $100,000 cash award, a custom-designed platinum and diamond crown necklace, and tiaras. The show was a production of Swim Entertainment and Fox Television Studios, with creator/executive producer Laurie Girion. On May 13, 2008, The CW officially cancelled the series. The show averaged 1.79 for its sole season. Pageant Director-Linnea Maloney Linnea Mancini Maloney won the Miss New York USA 1988 title and went on to compete in the Miss USA 1988 pageant. She played in all Episodes 1-8 as the Pageant Director of Crowned, The Mother of all Pageants.

Countrywise is a British television series on ITV, in which broadcaster Paul Heiney and the team of reporters look at the best of Britain's coast and country, with contributions from the ITV regions. Quite often, the classical historian Bettany Hughes appears on the programme, when she is introduced as the "Countrywise Historian". The programme began a new series in December 2010 - Countrywise Kitchen, about foraging for food and food connected with different parts of the country. For example, the edition broadcast on 10 December 2010 mentioned gathering mushrooms, and mentioned the cep mushroom. Celebrities who have appeared on the programme include Rachel de Thame, who appeared on the programme on 5 July 2011. The most recent series of the programme began broadcast on 25 June 2012, when it came from the Isle of Man and mentioned the Manx cat. A more recent edition of the programme has come from Ireland.This edition of the programme mentioned how the newest member of the Countrywise team has been the programme's scientist, Charlotte Uhlenbroek, who discussed Finn MacCool when the programme was in Ireland. In late July 2012, the programme was broadcast in Pembrokeshire, Wales, where it visited the smallest city in the United Kingdom, that of St. David's.
