Highlights from the annual knockout football competition organised by the Football League.
Longtime Michigan broadcaster Jim Brandstatter breaks down the previous day's football action with post-game interviews with the players and coaches, along with special features on the University of Michigan. Michigan Replay was the broadcasts of weekly (in season) coach's shows for University of Michigan football and men's basketball. The football Michigan Replay Show went on the air in 1975 with twelve to sixteen programs per year. Larry Adderley was the host from 1975 to 1979. Jim Brandstatter took over starting in 1980. In 2008 the title was changed to Inside Michigan Football. The basketball coach's show was first broadcast in 1990 under the title Michigan Basketball Preview and became Michigan Replay in 1999/2000. The format of the half-hour show was a host and the head coach in a studio setting reviewing the previous weeks games and previewing the upcoming games. Typically there would be one or more guests and often a short topical story.
The CMG Spring Festival Gala (formerly known as the CCTV New Year's Gala; commonly abbreviated in Chinese as Chunwan or 春晚) is a Chinese New Year special gala produced by China Media Group (CMG). The Gala is a live variety show featuring music, dance, and comedy performances alongside official messaging, held annually on Chinese New Year's Eve since it was first aired in February 1983. Grandstand was a British television sport programme. Broadcast between 1958 and 2007, it was one of the BBC's longest running sports shows, alongside BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Its first presenter was Peter Dimmock. There were only four main presenters of the programme during its long history: David Coleman, Frank Bough, Des Lynam, and Steve Rider. Changes in the structure of the programme during its last few years, however, meant it did not have a regular main presenter during this time. Among the more occasional hosts were Alan Weeks, David Icke, Clare Balding, Hazel Irvine, Bob Wilson, David Vine, Barry Davies, Dougie Donnelly, Harry Carpenter, Harry Gration, John Inverdale, Tony Gubba, Helen Rollason, Ray Stubbs and Sue Barker. The last editions of Grandstand were broadcast over the weekend of 27–28 January 2007.

Hip hop/neo soul band The Roots serve as the show's house band, and Steve Higgins is the show's announcer. The third incarnation of the Late Night franchise originated by David Letterman, the program originates from NBC Studio 6B in the GE Building at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. The show typically opens with a brief monologue from Fallon, followed by a comedy "desk piece," as well as prerecorded segments and audience competitions. The next segment is devoted to a celebrity interview, with guests ranging from actors and musicians to media personalities and political figures. The show then closes with either a musical or comedy performance. The show frequently employs digital media into its comedy, which has become crucial to its success. Fallon has been appointed to become the next host of The Tonight Show, where he will succeed the current host Jay Leno at the conclusion of the 2014 Winter Olympics, with fellow SNL alum Seth Meyers slated to replace Fallon.
