TLC

TLC is a darkly surreal farce-like sitcom set in a fictional NHS hospital called South Middlesex where coffee is traded like drugs and pretty much everyone has a personality problem. It was first broadcast on the BBC on 11 November 2002 and ran over six episodes until 16 December. There were some very mixed opinions on the show among both critics and viewers, but it achieved decent ratings and featured an excellent comedy cast including Richard Griffiths, Alexander Armstrong and The League of Gentlemen's Reece Shearsmith. The series was released on DVD in the UK on 29 October 2007. The show never confirms what "TLC" stands for, although it is presumed to be a sarcastic reference to the widely used abbreviation for "Tender Loving Care", but could equally refer to the alternative yet related abbreviation "Total Lack of Concern".

Orphans of a Nation

Laila is a Syrian victim of a bombing who agrees to marry a powerful sheikh in exchange for money to save her little brother's life. However, plans change due to the tragic death of the child. Laila and her family flee to start a new life in distant lands. Abandoned and enraged, the sheikh sends Jamil, his right-hand man, in search of the bride, but could not imagine he would fail to obey his command and fall madly in love with her. This forbidden love will be tested when the sheikh's daughter decides to take revenge after her father's mysterious death. From Emmy winners Thelma Guedes and Duca Rachid, ‘Orphans of a Nation’ tells a beautiful love story in the current context of refugees from around the world.

Tower Block Dreams

Tower Block Dreams is a British documentary series that broadcast on BBC Three during January 2004 investigating the underground music scene on council estates in the United Kingdom. The series looks at modern inner city life, through the stories of young musicians trying to make a career in music. The series shows that the underground music scene is fuelled by pirate radio stations and rappers' ambitions to become successful in the future.

Survival with Ray Mears

Survival with Ray Mears is a 3 part television series hosted by Ray Mears, as he tracks predators in their natural habitats. The series was broadcast by ITV, and was billed as the return of the Survival brand. It was followed by Wild Britain with Ray Mears. Survival consists of three, hour-long, programmes, focusing on Mears' tracking of the world's top predators. He follows the leopard in Namibia, the bear in British Columbia, and the wolf in Central Idaho. An underpinning theme is the threats faced by each species: in Idaho the crew arrives with only days to countdown before the wolf’s status as a protected species is lifted, and local farmers indicate their intention to begin hunting them; in British Columbia the impact of global warming on the salmon population is felt by the bear; and in Namibia the uneasy co-existence between leopards and local farmers is highlighted.

His childhood friend, Tachibana Amane, who loves him deeply, persuades him to do a portrait of Kimikage Yurina, a girl with a heart condition, before Yurina undergoes surgery. In the process of rediscovering his art, Daisuke also realises the love that he and Amane feel for each other.
