Yuichi Katagiri, a high school student, is abducted with four of his friends and forced to participate in a "Friends Game" to pay off a debt he was suddenly saddled with. The game is supposed to be easy to beat as long as you have friendship, but for some reason Yuichi and his friends are unable to beat the game. Maejima Satsuki works part-time at a garden centre in Tokyo. While her aspiration is to be a voice talent, she is on the verge of giving up. Satsuki has never been serious about what she does.
