A coming-of-age story about an outsider who, against all odds and numerous challenges, fights for love and acceptance and for her place in the world. The series centers on a young orphaned girl in the late 1890’s, who, after an abusive childhood spent in orphanages and the homes of strangers, is mistakenly sent to live with an elderly woman and her aging brother. Over time, 13-year-old Anne will transform their lives and eventually the small town in which they live with her unique spirit, fierce intellect and brilliant imagination.

Unsung

Unsung is an hour-long music documentary program that premiered on TV One on November 27, 2008. It celebrates the lives and careers of artists or groups sharing their triumphs, their tribulations, and their truth. It uncovers the stories behind well-known R&B, gospel, and hip-hop music artists, bands, or groups which were ranked on the Billboard music charts with a string of hits, only to have their career derailed by a major crisis. After four seasons, Unsung won an NAACP Image Award in the "Outstanding Information Series or Special" category. Others nominated in this category for 2011 were Anderson Cooper 360° and Washington Watch with Roland Martin. And as of 2018, the series has garnered six NAACP Image Awards.

The Election

Each level of society has its own struggles and oftentimes, the lines between humanity, power, and self-interest can be difficult to unravel. Lead actress Angelica Lee participates in the Chief Executive election bearing her husband’s mission of selfless diplomacy and constant pursuit of fairness on her shoulders. Unfortunately, the reality of society causes her to be drawn into a complicated predicament – on one side, she must deal with internal conflicts within her team while on the other, she must fend off constant attacks from her political opponent Liu Kai Chi. After enduring numerous obstacles, she discovers that it is impossible to separate friend from foe. In that sense, the interweaving of love and hate, humanity and self-interest between the characters precisely mirrors the reality of today’s society. RTL Boulevard is a daily television programme on the Dutch broadcasting station RTL 4. It was set up as a television equivalent of a tabloid, with a lot of airy subjects, news items and gossip about the stars, fashion and criminality. The programme is renowned for its sarcastic and cynical tone.

Fortune Hunter

Fortune Hunter is an American weekly series show on Fox Network in 1994, starring Mark Frankel as the super-spy Carlton Dial. In the US, Fortune Hunter aired on Fox from 4 Sep 1994 to 2 Oct 1994. Of the 13 episodes produced, only five were presented to the North American audience. The decision to schedule the series immediately after football on Sundays was a factor in the dismissal of Sandy Grushow, president of Fox Entertainment, by chairman Rupert Murdoch. The show has aired in its entirety in other countries. It was well liked and generally received high ratings.

Snake 'n' Bacon

Snake 'n' Bacon is a comic book and cartoon duo created by American cartoonist and illustrator Michael Kupperman. Originally only in print comics, the characters were brought to television on May 10, 2009, when they were broadcast on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim channel in a Snake 'n' Bacon animated show. The Tales Designed to Thrizzle, Vol. 1 collection was published in 2009 by Fantagraphics, but after its pilot the show was not picked up by Cartoon Network for Adult Swim.
