The Star

The Star is a Thai reality television singing competition produced by Exact, a GMM Grammy company, and broadcast on Modernine TV. It was first broadcast on 7 October 2003 and its fifth season aired during the first half of 2009. It is one of two such television programmes in Thailand, the other being Academy Fantasia.

Billboard Music Awards

The Billboard Music Awards are honors given out annually by Billboard, a publication covering the music business and a music popularity chart. The Billboard Music Awards show had been held annually since 1990, with the exception of the years 2007 through 2010. The event was formerly staged in December but since returning in 2011, it has been held in May.

MuchMusic Video Awards

The MuchMusic Video Awards are annual awards presented by the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic to honour the year's best music videos. In their modern form, the awards ceremony is not held in a conventional theatre, but instead as a large street party incorporating the MuchMusic World Headquarters, its parking lot, and parts of Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, Ontario. There are no hosts or announcers in the traditional awards-show fashion; instead, the MuchMusic VJs are an integral part of the festivities, introducing the awards' presenters and winners throughout the show.
