Shootout!

Shootout! was a documentary series featured on The History Channel and ran for two seasons from 2005 to 2006. It depicts actual firefights between United States military personnel and other combatants. There are also occasional episodes dedicated to police or S.W.A.T. team firefights, as well as Wild West shootouts. It also now has a feature of downloading and playing a first-person shooter detailing some of the battles. The battles include skirmishes from World War II, the Vietnam War, and the ongoing War on Terror in Afghanistan and during the 2003-2010 Iraq War. Season 1 was produced for The History Channel by Greystone Communications and Season 2 was produced by Flight 33 Productions. The series was created by Dolores Gavin and Louis Tarantino.

Sandokan

The Best Time

In post-war Shanghai, in 1945, fighter pilot Tang Teng and Qi Pao saleswoman Shen Ying fell in love. He would do anything to stay with her, even being court marshaled for not returning to the troop. He was arrested and sentenced to death. When a family friend, Ji Wen, learned of his fate, she saved him and smuggled him to Hong Kong. Shen Ying thought he was dead and resigned to marry a man who could help her support her family. However, when the expert tailor, Lu Xiao Mao, revealed that Tang Teng was alive in Hong Kong, she dissolved the engagement and went to Hong Kong. What she found there was not a reunion but a wedding between Tang Teng and Ji Wen.

Poland was wiped off the map of Europe, but it lived on in the hearts and minds of the Polish people. The struggle for Poland continued in various ways and by various means, depending on which partition the former territories of the country found themselves under. In literature, drama, and later in film, the struggle of Polish patriots with weapons in their hands, e.g., in the November and January uprisings against the tsarist regime, found greater reflection and resonance. Relatively little is known and little was known to the general public about the struggle for the liberation of the people of Greater Poland, which was under Prussian rule. And yet it was the "longest war in modern Europe."

American Morning

American Morning was a morning news television show that aired on CNN. It ran from 2001 to 2011. American Morning debuted on the day after 9/11, five months earlier than planned. It was anchored by Paula Zahn and Anderson Cooper at its inception. Cooper was replaced by Bill Hemmer in February 2002. The show's next permanent co-anchors were Soledad O'Brien and Miles O'Brien, who fronted the show from 2003 to 2007. They were replaced by John Roberts and Kiran Chetry due to poor ratings. After Roberts and Chetry left in 2011, the show did not have a permanent anchor team and was shelved by CNN at the end of the year. American Morning was replaced by two new programs, Early Start and Starting Point.

Inherit the Winds

The story takes place in the Bakumatsu era in Kyoto. A solider who has lost his memories is aided by the famous Shinsengumi member Sōji Okita. Sōji Okita names this man "Junsuke Tachikawa." Junsuke's life begins anew amidst the Mibu soldiers.

L.A. Law is an American television legal drama series that ran for eight seasons on NBC from September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994. Created by Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher, it contained many of Bochco's trademark features including a large number of parallel storylines, social drama and off-the-wall humor. It reflected the social and cultural ideologies of the 1980s and early 1990s, and many of the cases featured on the show dealt with hot-topic issues such as abortion, racism, gay rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The show was popular with audiences and critics, and won 15 Emmy Awards throughout its run, four of which were for Outstanding Drama Series.
