Sky Midnight News is a live news show that airs every day at 12:00am–12:30am on Sky News and on Sky News HD in the UK. It features a round-up of the news stories & a look ahead to the morning news. It is the only programme of its type in its time slot in the UK. It is regularly presented by a number of presenters with no set pattern.

World in Action was Granada Television’s flagship ITV current affairs series, running from 7 Jan 1963 to 7 Dec 1998, and built a reputation for film-led investigative reporting and a forceful editorial stance. Its journalism produced major public and political repercussions—including investigations associated with miscarriages of justice such as the Birmingham Six—and it also served as a platform for landmark documentary projects, including the first broadcast of “Seven Up!” as part of the strand in 1964.

BBC Breakfast is a national British morning television news programme simulcast on BBC One and the BBC News channel. Bandila is an International Emmy-nominated late night news broadcast of ABS-CBN in the Philippines. The newscast is anchored by Julius Babao, Karen Davila, Ces Oreña-Drilon and Boy Abunda. It is aired Weeknights at 10:45–11:30 PM. It features long story format about which the Center of Media Freedom and Responsibility stated, Bandila’s strength is its willingness to take a story and explore the various issues surrounding it. In addition, "it takes an issue to another level by adding perspective and analysis to it, thereby providing viewers a journalistic ingredient sorely lacking in many TV reports: context". Such objective causes the reports to be longer than usual. On November 22, 2010, Bandila started letting viewers send their reactions on each news through Twitter or Facebook and later read by the anchors after each news items, thus making Bandila more interactive.
Calendar is a regional television news and current affairs programme, produced by ITV Yorkshire at its studios in Leeds, serving Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and parts of the North Midlands and north western Norfolk areas of England. District reporters and camera crews are based at newsrooms in Hull, Lincoln and Sheffield.

DoQmentaries is a monthly television show produced by Q through GMA News and Public Affairs. It started on September 2008 and broadcast every Saturday of the month. After a 2-month break from shooting episodes, it is broadcasting every 1st Sunday of the month from February 2009. The show hosts Rhea Santos, Pia Arcangel, and Connie Sison, and each one of them hosts one episode. It ended unofficially on December 6, 2009 because of low ratings.
STV Rugby was a Scottish regional television programme featuring highlights of RaboDirect Pro12 rugby matches involving Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors. The programme, produced by the STV News department in Glasgow, was first broadcast in the 2009/10 season after a deal with the Celtic League Association, Scottish Rugby and STV was reached, following the closure of Setanta Sports in the UK. Magners League rugby returned to STV for the 2010/11 season, under the new name of Sports Centre: Rugby. The STV Rugby brand returned for the 2011/12 season, after Sports Centre was axed. The 2012/2013 season was the last to be covered by STV Rugby.

It can be heard simultaneously on radio through DZMM, its television counterpart DZMM TeleRadyo, and its provincial radio stations based in Palawan, Cebu, and Davao, with several MOR stations nationwide. It is also aired internationally via The Filipino Channel. It has been the longest running Filipino-language evening primetime newscast since its inception on March 2, 1987.

60 Minutes, an Australian version of the U.S. television newsmagazine 60 Minutes, airs on Sunday nights on the Nine Network and is presented in much the same way as the American program on which it is based. The New Zealand version of the show has also featured segments of the Australian version. Gerald Stone, the founding executive producer, was given the job by Kerry Packer and was told: "I don't give a f... what it takes. Just do it and get it right." After the first episode was broadcast on 11 February 1979, Packer was less than impressed, telling Stone: "You've blown it, son. You better fix it fast." Over the years, Stone's award winning 60 Minutes revolutionised Australian current affairs reporting and enhanced the careers of Ray Martin, Ian Leslie, George Negus, and later Jana Wendt. Since it was first broadcast, 60 Minutes has won five Silver Logies, one Special Achievement Logie, and received nominations for a further six Logie awards.
