Agent Z and the Penguin from Mars

Agent Z And The Penguin From Mars was a 1996 Children's BBC sitcom, based on the book of the same name by Mark Haddon. The six episode series followed the exploits of Ben Simpson, played by Duncan Barton, and his friends Barney, played by Andrew McKay, and Jenks, played by Reggie Yates, who together formed the "Crane Grove Gang", named after the street where they lived. This was a society dedicated to playing ingenious practical jokes in an initiative called "Agent Z".

Noya Itsuki just transferred to Ebisugawa High School. Since he has always had a fascination with space, he decides to join the Astronomy Club; however, he mistakenly walks into the Asstronomy Club-a club whose members are all female otaku. Itsuki notices that the members are really weird, but he has yet to realize that he joined the wrong club. His life becomes very strange very quickly.

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

The story revolves around a first-year high school student, Teiichi Niiya who had just enrolled at Seikyou Private Academy. When he gets lost in one of the school's old building, he meets a girl named Yuuko Kanoe who reveals herself as a ghost with no memories. Teiichi then decides to investigate her death by delving deep into the infamous Seven Mysteries of the storied school along with Kirie Kanoe, Yuuko's relative, and the oblivious second year Momoe Okonogi. Throughout the story, Teiichi and Yuuko discover the truth about these ghost stories and help those who are troubled all the while inching closer to the truth behind Yuuko's death.

Taisho Baseball Girls

In 1925 (year 14 of the Taishō period), after being told by a baseball player that women should become housewives instead of going to school, two 14-year-old Japanese high school girls named Koume and Akiko decide to start a baseball team in order to prove him wrong. During this time, when even running was considered too vulgar for women, baseball is known as "what the boys do" and they face many difficulties when searching members, getting permission from their parents and when learning about the sport itself.

Pilgrim's Rest

Bob Payne (Gary Olsen) used to work as a 'roadie' for a rock band. He decided to buy a roadside cafe called Pilgrim's Restaurant. It looked like a good investment with a healthy turnover. Bob bought the restaurant with the help of a loan from his sister Tilly (Gwen Taylor), who's married to a wealthy businessman. A year later, a new by-pass opened and most of the 'passing trade' disappeared. Turnover dropped dramatically and Bob was left to scrape a living by catering for a small band of regular customers. Then Tilly's husband left her and she needed somewhere else to live, so she moved in with her brother.

When Harry Lumsden, a humble bakery worker, adds up the results wrong of an IQ test, he mistakenly thinks he is a genius. Filled with a new sense of self worth Harry decides to set about improving all aspects of his life and especially his "career".

Ghastly Prince Enma Burning Up

Tokyo in the 1970s. Evil spirits are threatening the human world and the only ones who can stop them are a group known as the Spirit Patrol. Sent from the underworld the team consists of the hot-headed Enma, the stuck-up Yukiko, the half-water sprite Kapael and Chapeau-jii — the old man spirit in the form of a hat, who guides the group. This may not bode well... though.

We Know Where You Live

The fast paced sketch show was originally broadcast in 2000, and although the sketches have no overall theme, they are for the time, very cutting edge using such devices as security camera footage and hidden miniture cameras. The show also features, Fiona Allen (Gladiatress; Smack The Pony), Ella Kenion (The Catherine Tate Show), Jeremy Fowlds & Amanda Holden (The Grimleys; Wild at Heart).

Final Approach
