I Miss Korea

Miss Korea is For those who miss the taste and memory of Korean food, the cast of Miss Korea visit them in a foreign country and, in exchange for staying in their place, the eight members of the cast cook the menu the host misses the most. With local ingredients and the limited number of items the members are allowed to bring from Korea, they’re requested to make tasty Korean food that lives up to the host’s expectations. What makes Miss Korea more entertaining is that the eight members are divided into two teams and compete with each other. Each team leader can choose whom they want to work with, and the others must win the team leaders’ hearts with their secret items. Some of the cast has knowledge and experience of cooking whereas some may not be familiar with cooking. Under these conditions, will they be able to make the dish and satisfy the host? Rachael Ray, also known as The Rachael Ray Show, is an American talk show starring Rachael Ray that debuted in syndication in the United States and Canada on September 18, 2006. It is filmed at Chelsea Television Studios in New York City. The show's 8th season premiered on September 9, 2013, and became the last Harpo show in syndication to switch to HD with a revamped studio. In January 2012, CBS Television Distribution announced a two-year renewal for the show, taking it through the 2013–14 season.

Wok with Yan

Wok with Yan was a Chinese cuisine cooking show starring Stephen Yan. The show was first produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by the CBC at CBUT from 1980 to 1982. A second edition of the show was also produced in the early 1990s. The popular series was syndicated internationally in United States, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore for years. The humorous aprons also complemented his humour that consisted of spontaneous one-liners spoken with his trademark Cantonese accent or him playing with his food or cookware. That, combined with his energetic personality, endeared him to Canadian viewers. Prior to him preparing his stir fry cuisine, the show usually featured a vignette of Yan travelling to different vacation spots from around the world. He always invited an audience member to come up and eat with him near the end of each episode, and had a fortune cookie reading before the meal.

The special thing about this unusual cooking competition: In each episode, the two top chefs decide in which country the other chef must complete his difficult task. After arriving in the respective country, the two competitors are served the favorite dish of his regular guests by a local chef in the black "Kitchen Impossible" box. They then have to prepare the dish they tasted in the kitchen themselves to the best of their knowledge and ability, copying it as precisely as possible. The highlight: In "Kitchen Impossible" both the exact recipe and the list of ingredients remain a secret for the two chefs.

Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge

Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge is a BBC Television series of six episodes, and a Christmas special in 1995. It is named after the song "Knowing Me, Knowing You" by ABBA, which was used as the show's title music. Steve Coogan played the incompetent but self-satisfied Norwich-based host, Alan Partridge. Alan was a spin-off character from the spoof radio show On the Hour. Knowing Me Knowing You was written by Coogan, Armando Iannucci and Patrick Marber, with contributions from the regular supporting cast of Doon Mackichan, Rebecca Front and David Schneider, who played Alan's weekly guests. Steve Brown provided the show's music and arrangements, and also appeared as Glen Ponder, the man in charge of the house band. The show was a parody of a chat show. It featured a live audience whose laughter meant that viewers could not mistake the show for a real chat show. Alan went on to appear in two series of the sitcom I'm Alan Partridge, following his life after both his marriage and TV career come to an end.
