Sapan Dao

"Sapan Dao" (TH:สะพานดาว) is a 1999 Thai television miniseries adaptation of the 1993 social-conscious best-selling novel of the same name by Thommayanti. Directed by Thapakorn Disayanon, starring Art Supawatt Purdy (as Supawatt Aumprasit) and Sririta Jensen. Produced by Kantana Video Production and written for television by Jintabutr, "Sapan Dao" was originally made for Ch. 5 as part of the 'TeleFive' Network primetime line-up. Fortunately, Kantana decided last minute to present it to the big boss at Ch. 7, Thailand most-watched television network. As luck would have it, Ch. 7 recognised right away a hit, and bought the right to the story for its Wednesday & Thursday primetime slot. "Sapan Dao" became one of ch. 7 biggest hits for 1999 and made Art an overnight sensation in the process.

Eggheads

Eggheads is a BBC quiz show which pits a team of five "Eggheads" against a series of teams of five "challengers" who in each episode attempt to beat the Eggheads through a series of rounds. The program was first broadcast in 2003, and co-presented by Dermot Murnaghan and Jeremy Vine. For the 2008 series, Jeremy Vine was brought in to present on nights when Murnaghan was hosting the spinoff series Are You an Egghead?. This happened again from October 2009 while Murnaghan presented the second series of the spinoff show. Since the spin-off show finished, Jeremy Vine has continued to host the second half of each series, which broadcasts 52 weeks a year. Episodes generally air weekdays.

Intrepid Journeys

Intrepid Journeys is a New Zealand television series, which screens on TV ONE. Making its debut in 2003, the show focuses on New Zealand "celebrities" who travel over to exotic countries to see the country's history, culture and people. It is a multi-award-winning travel series. It is not a “Survivor” style manufactured “challenge” show. It is about meeting real challenges in the real world, travelling to lesser-known places and then getting around the way locals do… by foot, bus and camel. Aside from being physically challenging, Intrepid Journeys also acts as a conduit to other cultures and countries that may otherwise only be seen on the news when all hell is breaking loose. This series is a chance to get past stereotypes, myths and bad press, to get out into the real world and experience life challenging and changing travel. Across each hour-long episode, Intrepid Journeys follows a celebrity traveller for two weeks in a rough and ready destination. The appeal of the show is two-fold. Aside from seeing a personality rise to a real challenge, there is also the chance to gather real working knowledge and understanding of places, lives, events and happenings foreign to Western culture.

Celebrity Paranormal Project

Celebrity Paranormal Project is a paranormal reality television series that originally aired from October 22, 2006 to November 1, 2007 on VH1. The show is currently on hiatus, so it is unknown if VH1 will re-air the show and begin with a second season. Except for a different title and usage of celebrities, the VH1 show is identical to MTV's Fear. The show since been released and available on iTunes and Xbox Live. All eight episodes are also available for free streaming on Hulu.

FANatic

FANatic is an American TV show that was shown on the MTV network in the late 1990s. It featured everyday people being tricked into going somewhere and unexpectedly meeting their idol.

The Weakest Link

The Weakest Link was an Australian game show based on the successful UK format, which aired from February 2001 until April 2002 and was broadcast on the Seven Network. Presented by Cornelia Frances, the show featured nine contestants competing for a potential prize of $100,000. Airing twice weekly in primetime, on Mondays and Fridays, later Thursdays, it received modest ratings until its cancellation. The Monday edition indirectly competed against the more-popular Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and the Friday edition served as a lead-in to the AFL telecasts in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia only. Later on in the year, The Weakest Link was moved to Thursdays at 7:30pm. In 2002, the show aired only once a week, on Mondays. Due to poor ratings, the show was cancelled for good with one of the final episodes being a lifestyle special that aired on 8 April 2002. The show was produced in the Seven Network's South Melbourne headquarters.

Natural World

Natural World is a nature documentary television series broadcast annually on BBC Two and regarded by the BBC as its flagship natural history brand. It is currently the longest-running series in its genre on British television, with more than 400 episodes broadcast since its inception in 1983.
