Scavengers' Paradise

Mainland youngster TANG WAI CHEUNG (KWOK CHUN ON) looks for his future father-in-law LING SING PO (CHUN WONG) with an old Hong Kong address passed on by his late mother. Unfortunately, PO moved a long time ago. With nowhere else to stay, CHEUNG lives with his young uncle TANG KING CHAN (MA KWOK MING). CHAN bluffs to his relatives about his wealth, but in fact, he is seriously in debt. In order to pay off CHAN’s debt, CHEUNG takes any jobs that he can find, and experiences the real world. CHEUNG and his flatmate CHENG PIK WAN (WU, MYOLIE) encourage each other to work hard and slowly fall in love. Real Kung Fu

Wing Chun Master WONG WAH PO’s successor LEUNG TSAN is framed for a murder and flees to Foshan. He finds shelter with his uncle LEUNG YEE TAI (LEUNG KA YAN). In order to investigate the murder, TSAN goes under-cover and becomes a cook for a tycoon, Mr CHAN. He meets his lover CHEUNG KIN HEI in CHAN’s house. He is shocked to find that HEI is now married. HEI is jealous about a beautiful princess FU TSAT HO YUET who is always with TSAN. HEI thinks that TSAN ran away to avoid marrying her, and chases him all the way to Foshan. She has crossed some villains, so the only way to save herself is to have a fake marriage with the powerful Mr CHAN. Chan dies soon after the wedding, leaving HEI suddenly widowed. She is determined to raise CHAN’s only son CHAN WAH SHUN as a responsible person.

Legendary Fok

The story takes place in the early years of the Republic of China. The Huo family and the Zhao family are the two giants in the martial arts world today. They have been fighting over who is the authentic secret boxer. Huo Yuanjia is the fourth son of the Huo family. People are not optimistic about him because he has been frail and sick since he was a child, and they are not prepared to teach him martial arts. However, Huo Yuanjia, who is extremely perceptive, actually realized the Mizong Fist on his own. On the day when the two families agreed to compete, He used the Mizong Fist and defeated his opponent Cheng Tianxiao. Unexpectedly, Cheng Tianxiao suffered a huge blow and passed away. His apprentice Chen Zhen worshiped Huo Yuanjia as his master. A group of people came to Tianjin. Huo Yuanjia, who was highly skilled in martial arts, quickly attracted the attention of the Japanese and was hunted down. They could only take Qiannan to flee to Beijing and set up the Jingwu Sect.

Sweetness in the Salt

NIP CHI YUEN (Ma Steven), who works in the anti-smuggling camp, is determined to wipe out the Tau’s Fort, which is the stronghold for salt smugglers. He pretends to be a down-and-out scholar. TAU SING SUET (Yeung Yi), daughter of the chief smuggler, sympathizes with YUEN and puts him up in the village. Later, they even become fond of each other. During an anti-smuggling operation SUET is badly hurt and has since been separated from YUEN and her family. Fortunately she is saved by WU TING HIN (Wong Ho Yin), son of salt merchant WU KIN (Kwok Fung). HIN takes her home. One day, SUET is horrified to see the dead bodies of her parent being hung on the wall of the city tower, and that the official standing on the top of the tower telling the public not to sell smuggled salt is none other than the man she misses day and night. She is heartbroken, and her love for YUEN turns into hatred that moment on...

Song Bird

Song Bird is a historical drama television series produced by TVB and broadcast in Hong Kong in 1989. The story is based on the life of shidaiqu singer Zhou Xuan. The Chinese name of the TV series comes from one of the name of the song used in the 1937 film Street Angel.

Le Mythomane

Written by Alphonse Boudard, Le Mythomane had its origins in an episode of the 1979 series Histoires de voyous directed by Michel Wyn. The TV series tells the story of the daily lives of common petty thieves. This nice little gang consisted of Aunt Victoire, a “baroness” of the underhanded (Suzy Delair), Fernand, a gutsy rascal from the slums (Jacques Balutin) and Norbert Beaufumé (Francis Perrin), a petulant con artist whose pathological lying has driven him to maintaining two separate families. Men Don't Cry

Men Don't Cry is a TVB period comedy series broadcast in October 2007, to celebrate TVB's 40th Anniversary. The shown was rerun from Thursday, January 29, 2009 to February 26, 2009 from Monday to Friday at 12:05am on TVB Jade in Hong Kong. The Chinese title is a reference to Shi Jian, who had played as villains in many Wong Fei Hung movies featuring Kwan Tak Hing as Wong Fei Hung, and later in TVB's television series. Reversing the trends set by previous Wong Fei Hung stories, the title archvillain assumes the leading role of the series, with Wong Fei Hung as the supporting role.
