Green Love depicts the life and hardships of children who grew up in rural areas and left for the big cities to study and build a career, but later return home. Lin Shen (Guo Jing Fei) has set up a construction company in Shanghai, but then decides to go back to his hometown and tries to build up a business there. At the same time, the investor Chen Ling (Che Xiao) wants to escape from her busy life in the city and visits Lin Shen’s village.
