WILDerland: Billabong and Beyond

Embodying the spirit of exploration, Jake Cockburn (13) takes up the WILDerland torch, guiding adventurers of all ages from the untamed wilds of Australia to the wide-open landscapes of Texas. In this special, Jake trades city comforts for crackling campfires and dusty trails, guiding viewers from Queensland's misty rain forests to the coast of Texas. Along the way, he strikes sparks with flint and steel, shows how to pitch a tent, cooks WILD meals, and hikes to a fantastic waterfall. Every segment seamlessly blends practical bush-craft with the broader mission of Primitive Planet: empowering young explorers to step outside, tackle challenges head-on, and become stewards of the wild places they love.

Nina and the Neurons

The Legend of Tarzan

The Legend of Tarzan picks up where the 1999 feature film left off, with the title character adjusting to his new role as leader of the apes following Kerchak's death, and Jane adjusting to life in the jungle. Rounding out the cast are Jane's father, Professor Archimedes Porter; Tantor, the germophobic elephant; and Terk, a wisecracking female gorilla and Tarzan's old wrestling buddy.

Pappyland

Pappyland was a live action children's television show originally written by Jon Nappa. More than 65 episodes were written by award-winning children's writer, Benette Whitmore. It was originally broadcast on TLC from September 30, 1996 to December 1999. Then, after cancellation, aired reruns until February 21, 2003. The show starred acclaimed cartoonist-artist Michael Cariglio as Pappy Drewitt, an artist/49er type character who lived in a magical cabin in a bizarre land with many different creatures and people. More than half of the show was shot on bluescreen. During each half-hour segment, Pappy and other characters danced, sang, taught life lessons and other children's television fare but the main focus of the show was watching Pappy draw pictures. Viewers who sent in their artwork, had their drawing shown during the "Hall of Frames" segment near the end and the closing credits.

Bugsbot is a fantasy-action series that features hero adventure stories starring kids who struggle to save the forests with their insect-shaped robot buddy 'Bugsbot.'

Gran

Gran is a children's stop motion animation television series narrated by Patricia Hayes and directed by Ivor Wood. There were only two main characters, namely Gran and her grandson, Jim. The programme was made by Woodland Animations and was written by Michael and Joanne Cole. Ivor Wood created thirteen five-minute episodes in 1982. The series was broadcast on the BBC between 17 February 1983 and 12 May 1983, and was repeated in both 1986 and 1992. A children's book based on the series was also released in 1983. The shorts were also shown in the U.S. as part of the Nickelodeon series Eureeka's Castle. Despite moderate popularity with young audiences in the mid-1980s, the series has not been seen on UK television since being repeated in 1992, and no further episodes were made. Series 1 was released on Region 2 DVD in the U.K. on 7 March 2005 but has since been deleted.

The show is noted for its indie-culture guest stars and bands, and for drawing visual inspiration from 8-bit video games and H. R. Pufnstuff.
